South African 2010 Stadiums are undergoing major renovations. The ten stadiums that will be utilised for the 2010 soccer world cup in South Africa will be the Soccer City Stadium in Johannesburg, Ellis Park Stadium in Johannesburg, Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria, Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban, Green Point Stadium in Cape Town, Nelson Mandela Stadium in Port Elizabeth, Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg, Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein, Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane and Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit.
The 2010 Soccer world cup matches will be held in different cities across South Africa.

Ellis Park Stadium also known as the Coca Cola Park can accommodate 60 000 seated and approximately 10 000 on the floor area and it is situated in Ellis Park, North-east of Johannesburg .

 
Soccer City Stadium also known as The FNB Stadium can accommodate 94,700 spectators and it situated in Diepkloof near Nasrec, south-west of Johannesburg. Soccer City will be hosting both the opening match and the final. Soccer City Stadium is the largest in Africa.
Loftus Versfeld Stadium is a all seater Stadium and can accommodate 51,762 spectators. Loftus Versfeld is situated 5 km from the city centre of Tshwane (Pretoria). And it is one of the oldest stadiums in South Africa.
Moses Mabhida Stadium can accommodate 70 000 spectators for the 2010 world cup. The Stadium was named after a hero of the working class and it situated nearby the ABSA Stadium in the Kings Park Sporting zone in Stamford Hill.
Green Point Stadium can accommodate 68 000 spectators and it situated in Green Point, between Signal Hill and the Atlantic Ocean, close to the Cape Town city centre and to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.
Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium can accommodate 48 000 spectators for the 2010 world cup. The stadium was built especially for the world cup and will be hosting one of the semi-finals, it is situated in Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape.
Royal Bafokeng Stadium can accommodate 42 000 spectators, The Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace is situated in Rustenburg in the North West Province and will be hosting the first and second round matches for the 2010 world cup.
Free State Stadium also known as Vodacom Park can accommodate 48 000 spectators and it is situated in Bloemfontein in the Free State Province. the stadium will host five first round matches.
Peter Mokaba Stadium can accommodate 46 000 spectators and it is situated in Polokwane City the capital city of Limpopo Province. The stadium will host a number of first round matches.
Mbombela Stadium can accommodate over 40 000 spectators and it is situated in the Mpumalanga Province seven kilometres north of Nelspruit.
